Does it really feel like Christmas without Christmas biscuits? I don't think so.
So, let's take out the kitchenware, the cooking apron, and turn the music on, it's Christmas Biscuits time! 🤗
By the way, this recipe is totally not mine. I confess I stole it from Tiphaine.
General info:
Level: Easy-peasy
Temps:
- 15 min prep
- 20 min baking
Ingredients:
1 egg white
175 gr of butter
70 gr of powdered sugar
200 gr wheat flour
1 bag of vanilla sugar
1 pinch of salt
100 gr dark/milk chocolate
1 handful of pecan nuts
How to prepare your Christmas biscuits:
Preheat the oven to 160°.
Slightly melt the butter till soft.
Blend the butter and the powdered sugar till creamy texture.
Add the egg white.
Add the rest of the ingredients except the chocolate and the pecan nuts. Mix slightly with a spatula.
Fill a piping bag (if you don't have a piping bag, use a small plastic bag and cut off one of the tips) with the dough and form the biscuits on a baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes at 160°.
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
Mix the pecans into small pieces.
Once the shortbread is out of the oven, wait for it to cool down before dipping it in the chocolate and pecans.
And voilà! Sit comfortably, make yourself a warm cup of tea and enjoy.
See you next week for the fourth blogmas.
Math.
